We have to face it. Democrats lost in astounding numbers. The very idea of Democracy is threatened. Pundits on both side have begun the post-mortem on Democratic campaigns. We need to stand firm. There wasn't a "bad message". There wasn't a lack of clarity. There wasn't a forgotten demographic. Democrats know what they stand for. Democrats know the ideals that this country has always struggled to achieve. Elections were lost because the American people were lost in a sea of misinformation and propaganda. The border is not "wide open". There are not whole cities "occupied" by gangs of immigrants. The economy is not a disaster. America is not a "garbage can". We need to fight against those ideas.

We are progressives coming together from all over the county. Together we can bring truth back to the political area, and encourage elected officials to halt the conservative agenda that is so harmful to us all. We will challenge them in the courts, at the ballot box and in the public square.
